Last July is a song that has been inspired by many eras of my life, but its main theme is about the feeling of a chance missed, and looking at yourself in the mirror thinking you just lost something that could have changed your life. A shot you didn’t take. It’s a theme I’ve thought about for a couple years now, and I decided to put it into a song.
